| Introduction | I'm a 38-year-old literature and physics geek with a B.A. and some master's work in English, married, father of two wonderful children (ages 10 and 8), the oldest of whom is a special-needs kid (22q11.2 deletion syndrome, aka DiGeorge syndrome, with severe cardiac sequelae). My screen name here and on Democratic Underground comes from Abraham ben Meir ibn Ezra (ca. 1093-1167), a persona to whom I was introduced by Isaac Asimov's Pebble in the Sky, quoting the Robert Browning poem "Rabbi ben Ezra." |
