Introduction	Catherine Quick is an assistant professor of English at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. This summer (June 2008), she is attending the Summer Institute of the Central Texas Writing Project (San Marcos, TX), to help prepare to apply for a National Writing Project site to be housed at TAMU-CC. Also, she fervently hopes she will emerge from Summer Institute as a better and more prolific writer. (She needs the help!) This blog records her experiences with the Summer Institute.
