| Introduction | I'm Mik Scarlet, and welcome to my blog "Scarlet Sees Red". I'm a journalist and reporter, musician, DJ, actor and a disability and access consultant, among other things. In the words of Troy Maclure off The Simpsons, you may remember me off such shows as "From The Edge" (BBC2's disability magazine program) and "Beat That" (Channel 4's Emmy award winning inclusive kid's TV show back in the 90's). On a more personal note, I'm in my 40's, very happily married to the lovely Diane and live in Camden, London. I'm disabled, after beating cancer as a baby and I've been a wheelchair user since I was 15. I collect classic analogue synthesizers, build computers for fun and am a huge sci-fi nut.
