Introduction	Kimberly currently tends four community gardens for a place-based nonprofit in southeast Kansas City, KS. After moving twelve times and working first as a community organizer in Gainesville, Florida and then as a high school ESL teacher in the Bronx, NY, she grew weary of traveling and being busy. Now she prioritizes living near family and, when possible, in the same neighborhood she serves because concentric connections and being home delight her soul.
