| Introduction | elasticCo. is the brainchild of French designer Elodie Blanchard, a graduate of the fashion school Duperre and the Beaux Arts de Paris. While in Paris, she received critical acclaim for her clothes designed under her name which was presented at the FIAMH, sold in La Redoute and, Parisian stores. She went to Los Angeles on a grant to pursue the performance project Noisy Clothes working with musicians. Her few months stay never ended. She found love and forgot all the rest, following him to New York. Just like that, wondering what to do next, she began tying rubber bands together, creating large armors and varied products. |
