Introduction	I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan but have lived in the South for most of my adult life. I love to cook, bake, shop, and tweak my decor. Because I have two children and work part-time, though, I don't have as much time as I would like to "git 'er done!" My home, like my life, is a work-in-progress: sometimes messy, sometimes dysfunctional, but always striving to soar to greater heights! My reasons for starting a blog are twofold: (1) to increase my "TQ" (technology quotient) and (2) to motivate myself by having a log of ideas, projects, recipes, and other things relating to making my home a comfortable, happy place for my family. In my world, time is more precious than money, and I don't always make it myself or do it myself. We tackle the projects we can handle and the others have to wait until funds allow us to hire someone.
