Introduction There is so much in this world to make a person happy if they just look for it. It is my goal to always seek after the good things in life. There is so much I want to do that there really isn't time in this life for it all, so I just do what I can. I love teaching my violin students and I learn so much from them. I recently graduated with my BM in Music, Violin Performance. Aside from teaching violin and other music related activities, I enjoy photography and making jewelry.
Interests Teaching violin, Music, photography, driving through puddles, green lights, violin, the gospel, listening to music, studying music, creating things, (ie writing music, playing music, scrapbooking, taking pictures, cooking, interior decorating, making jewelry, etc.), and anything else that arises at the impulse of the moment.
Favorite Movies Memoirs of a Geisha, Elektra, The Prestige, Pride and Prejudice, Beauty and the Beast, The Count of Monte Cristo, and lots of other (mostly depressing or romantic) films.
Favorite Music I have 19 GB of music. I love it all! I have a variety, from Cathloic masses and madrigals to Chinese folk music. But what I spend most of my time listening to are singer/songwriters like, Ray LaMontagne, Iron & Wine, Regina Spektor, Brandi Carlile, Carrie Rodriguez, and more.
Favorite Books Honestly, I am always reading something, but nothing stands out in particular as a favorite.

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?

This is a funny question. I personally don't have much experience with either, but my little brother went through a phase of making "soap creatures" in the shower, which grossed out my younger but not-so-little sister. Now he just "whittles" (or rather hacks at with a knife) sticks out in the yard.
