| Introduction | Having enjoyed a life-time of passionate interest in natural history, the title of my Blog is Inspired by Ecology. Hunting for plants and animals throughout the world and the whole range of living things has given me my life's greatest pleasure. This passion has taken me to many parts of the world. I have led wildlife holidays from Central Asia to the Galapagos Islands and lectured on cruise ships from Greenland to Chile. A recent inspiration has been Mark Telfer's pan-species listing initiative. In this blog I will attempt to share the inspiration of sites and the species I have seen as an active natural historian. |
