| Introduction | Your ISINAY BIRD is a farm-raised, nature-nourished, and river-loving Filipino with Ilocano, Pangasinan and Isinay ancestry. Based in Baguio City and married to a full-blood Cordilleran, he has worked with the University of the Philippines at Los Baños College of Forestry, the Philippine Department of Environment & Natural Resources, the Honolulu-based East-West Center, the UN Food & Agriculture Organization, the UPLB Forestry Development Center, the Philippine Department of Finance, the Philippine Federation for Environmental Concern, and the Society of Filipino Foresters. Aside from writing for this blog, he is currently enjoying senior citizen’s life in Dupax and Baguio while putting up a comprehensive lexicon of Isinay words to help revitalize the endangered language.
