| Introduction | Bjorn in Lidingo, Sweden of Danish parents. Immigrated to South Africa when I was 3 years old (with the help of my mum and dad) in 1952. Schooled (almost) and raised (more or less)in Cape Town. Left the Cape for Europe in 1969, where I hung out with singer Zane Adams and the Flames from Durban. Returned in 1971 to work for Foschini in the advertising department. Left the Cape again for good in November 1976 after the Soweto riots. (See also clausandrup.com.) |
