IntroductionI'm retired, and enjoying being at home. I'm the mother of five and the grandmother of twelve. Two of my grandchildren 16 and 17 and, their mother, my youngest daughter, live with me making us a family of four. They give me a reason to get up every day. The twelve grandchildren range in age from 15 to 30. I consider all twelve grandchildren the joys of my life. Since most of them are now grown, I don't see them as often as I would like. Three have graduated from college with one presently attending. Others work and are in relationships, or they're just busy as most folks are these days. I have always loved going on adventures with the children, something I mostly get to do these days with the younger grandchildren. We've been on many adventures together and I truly miss not spending time with the older grandchildren. Our adventures have taken us to beaches (Ocean Grove, NJ is our favorite), New Hope,PA, holiday celebrations with fireworks (lots of fireworks shows.....LOVE THEM!), museums, parks, Cherry Blossom Festivals, DC, NYC and Broadway shows, boat rides, hiking, and so much more.
