| Introduction | On January 12, 2010 at 4:30 in the afternoon I was returning from work as a teacher at Union School in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. As I returned to my room to rest up after a long day, I was rocked back and forth by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. I thank God that along with my fellow teachers in our building, we made it out alive. 250,000 Haitians, however, were not so fortunate. As a result, I joined forces with several other well intentioned individuals to form H.E.R.O., an organization that WILL create a pathway for orphans and chidlren to achieve holistic life success. I hope that you join us on this journey to help rebuild Haiti. |
