Introduction	I suppose it's time to update my profile. I am no longer "the lady with the big white dog"....sweet Rufus is gone and I will never be the same. He will be missed every minute of every day. I no longer live in the middle of nowhere...I live above my pottery studio and my sister's pottery shop, Rabbit Creek Pottery, in Dillsboro, NC. I take pottery classes in Bryson City, NC and travel to Atlanta often. I still make saints and gods and goddesses but now I also make mugs and plates and bowls...... When the time is right, I'll open my own shop...Blind Dog Studio.....my pots will be signed in braille and a little story of Rufus will be included in all my sales...right now, it's just too sad. addendum....I didn't think I would ever get another dog, certainly never another white German shepherd, but I did! Wintermantel (Winter) came to live with me in May. He's a goofy, smart, rapidly growing new friend. I think we're both quite happy.
Interests	dirt...fire, water. leafy seadragons, spirals, trees...
Favorite movies	if lucy fell, pirate radio, benny and joon, calender girls, kinky boots, elizabethtown..
Favorite music	celtic, bob dylan's words....not so much his harmonica, Phil McWilliams, Amos Lee, Cat Power
Favorite books	batchelor brothers bed and breakfast, anything by bill bryson, barbara kingsolver, alice hoffman, elizabeth peters/barbara michaels.....
