Introduction	Too many early mornings, stressful work environments and not enough quality time my husband and I decided to escape the rat race in the UK and move to Bulgaria in 2013 to live as self-sufficient lifestyle as possible. We all have only one shot at this life and at times it is necessary to take calculated risks. After 10 months checking out as much as possible the plunge was taken for our move to Bulgaria with our two dogs. It may work it may not, but if we don't give it a go years later we will be saying "what if". I will maintain this blog to give an keep you up to date on our move and our day to day life and hope that it may give an insight to those who also want to take the plunge to a new life.
