Introduction Thanks for checking out my blog, which is mainly to do with my writing - currently a series of stories based on the lives of my ancestors. They are a very mixed bunch, including a much-maligned Scottish nobleman, a transported convict, a Welsh preacher, and a Belfast industrialist. Please contact me with your comments and questions about my writing and my blog posts at maggiewilliamsrichmond@gmail.com Please note that it is no longer possible to subscribe directly to blogger, as Google has disabled this feature. However, you can leave comments on the blog page, using the box provided. And please do let me know, either in the comment box or by email, if you'd like me to notify you of new blog posts. Thanks! And I hope to hear from you soon.
Interests Having formerly balanced work and travel, I spent the first five years of my retirement labouring with my husband to restore an old stone house in the foothills of the French Pyrenees. At the same time, I continued to compose songs, write poems, and publish a quirky reflective blog, authored with my dog Shadow. Now we have settled near Dundee, and, when not writing, researching, cooking, or gardening, you may find me tricycling into town, digging on my allotment, or helping out at the local PDSA charity shop.
