Introduction	Brendan is an American citizen who lives in Taipei, Taiwan. Several years ago, Brendan was weirdly delighted to discover that 25 degrees North latitude ran right by his house. But since then he's moved, and he doesn't have such a momentous cartographical line outside his front door any more.
