Introduction	My job's Head of Bargaining and Equal Pay for UNISON Scotland and to trade i'm a trained community development worker and relationship counsellor. As a member of UNISON Scotland’s senior management team I carry strategic responsibility for Bargaining and Equal Pay across many sectors – including the Scottish Community and Voluntary Sector, Local Government, Health, and Higher Education. UNISON Scotland has developed some real strengths in organising within the Scottish community and voluntary sector, including recently facilitating a pact between Scottish sector employers, umbrella groups and unions to promote better, fairer pay and conditions for sector workers.
