Picking up the scraps and bits, shaping them into something I can share or keep secretly admired in my heart. I love to connect with the women that are looking in the basement drawers at estate sales, standing in the craft store holding an undefined object, with their eyes to the ceiling imagining the possibilities, the ones who haul the broken unwanted treasures home from the auctions…those are my kindred sisters.
