| Introduction | Mariano Gabriel Vidal was about to graduate from the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, when he saw the movie ‘The Lion King’. After being fascinated by how the Disney animators brought the story to life, Mariano knew then that what he really wanted to be was an animator. So, just two months after receiving his degree in architecture and becoming a licensed architect, he embarked on his career in animation. Over the next fifteen years, he amassed an impressive portfolio that includes work for some of the most prestigious companies worldwide. His art can be seen in many commercials, promos, spots, and animated feature films throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States. At present, he’s in charge of the creative and artistic direction for ‘Storybook Anytime’, a US based company which produces original written and illustrated stories. Prior to that, he has also worked as an Animation Director for Radical Axis Animation Studio (Atlanta, GA – USA), as well as creating and supervising overseas work for Artifact Design (Atlanta, GA – USA). |
