About me

Introduction First off, I don't love food, I love GOOD FOOD. That is actually an understatement. I have been involved with food my entire life. Fron the age of 14 running a Hot Dog wagon and flipping burgers to managing several New York Delicatessens, then opening and owning my own restaurant, I Love Good food! I opened Gandolfo's New York Deli in Provo Utah in 1990. By 2010 Gandolfo's has almost 70 locations nationwide. In 2009 I started a new concept called Rocco's Panini Grille. The Italian Panini menu along with our awesome Italian Soda's continue to delite our customers daily. My creative side continues to burn like a wildfire, and my passion for travel and cooking has no limits. I have leaned on my "excursions" to Europe, Central America, Africa, and the Middle East to invent food "fusions" that will wake up your taste buds. Baseball is my second Passion. I watch it play it, coach it, talk about it, even listen too it. Passion number one is my family. My wife of 23 years is the center of my life. My 5 kids are all right behind her. To watch my kids play baseball with my wife by my side, while eating awesome food and knowing the Mets are being taped on TIVO is a great day.
