| Introduction | I am a single mom to my three sons: 18 year old Trey and 14 year old twins, James David and Jacob. I am full-time senior lecturer within the English department at the University of Tennessee. I've evolved from the chaser of metaphorical monsters to become a fierce advocate for my children against the real monsters of the world. I love without abandon and will do anything for the people I love. Even through all the adversity my children and I have faced in the past 4 years, I'm still a child at heart, a believer in Santa Claus, and a participant in goofiness. |
