Introduction I began writing as a means of escape. That blossomed into a means of communication. Through my studies both personal and social, I have developed my style which I like to refer to as 'open-air' poetry. We all breathe, it comes as natural as anything else we must do in order to survive. Like air, the poems are light, but complex in their makeup. Easily accessible, my work seeks to bridge the gap between poetry for poets and poetry for the everyman. Productions : (2007) "Magnificent Confusion - A Journey In Verse" Featured Artist : (2009) Central FL Black Pride : 7th Annual Literary Cafe Brooklyn Poetry Outreach (2010) Ken Siegelman's Brooklyn Poetry Outreach Books: (2008) ACTUALITY ASKEW (2010) QUARRELS WITH MY SELF (2011) N VURS
Interests Beyond Poetry, many. But mostly partial to amusement parks and roller coasters, cooking, pool / billiards, board-games, various outdoor activities, movies, theater, basically all that NYC has to offer...of course when I can afford it..LOL!
Favorite Movies Too many to mention..and a lot of them are considered bad. Am I the only person with some sort of appreciation for Ed Wood? LOL!
Favorite Music Six letters. One man. P-R-I-N-C-E the one and ONLY! But there are plenty other artist that I like as well... My collection is comprised of everything from Disney to Death-Metal...
Favorite Books Easy. Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series. Specifically in this order: Books 7, 3, 4.5, 6, 1, 2, 5, and the beginning & ending of book 4 (middle of the book is a drawl...but informative). As a side note, book #4.5 is called "The Wind Through The Keyhole" and was published after the 7th book in the series.
