Introduction	As an assistant professor of communication studies, I believe blogging has great potential to further community-engaged scholarship. Unfortunately, blogging doesn't count toward one's tenure case--at least not yet, not directly. And so for now most of my blogs will be experiments in pedagogy as I look for effective ways to teach and assess student learning. These class-connected sites generally will be private but who knows what might emerge. Stayed tuned.
