| Introduction | You want to know about me? OK, but it’s not very exciting. I have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering but never worked as an engineer. I’ve spent my career in construction, starting in a family electrical business—yes, I know what you’re thinking, why not electrical engineering? Please, do you want to be bored to death? Let’s move on, shall we? For the past 14 years, I’ve been working as a Construction Manager—that means I watch everyone else work! In 2006, I became a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), that’s a nationally recognized certification—OK, that’s enough, I’m treading very close to that boring area again. None of that’s important, anyway. The fun really begins after Dawn and I got together and decided our lives were much too simple. We needed something to “ground” us, like a house and then kids! Now, I’ve got four kids within an 8 year time frame, a wife that I need to make a reservation to talk with, a house that needs more work than I have time or money for and a job in Manhattan that takes 3 hours to get to and fro. But, do you want to know the crazy part? I wouldn’t change any of it for all the money in the world! |
