Introduction	My name is Anthony J. DeMeglio, Lighting Designer and Photographer. I first developed an interest in photography in high school and began learning how to process and develop black and white film and prints before I was even allowed to take the photography classes offered. Learning the basics on a Pentax K1000 and aspiring to be a photojournalist however my whole plan changed and I entered into the backstage world of theater. My interests moved into Lighting Design where, fast forward six years, I entered the professional work force lighting various theatrical shows, events and concerts. My passion for photography having never fully left, I would take photos with my point and shoot digital camera completely frustrated on the limited control I had. Finally I purchased a Canon 40D and after thousands of shots I soon realized that my love for evoking emotion through lighting could be merged and captured through photography.
