| Introduction | My first career was in TV news as a video editor. I always loved reading . video production, photography, and technology. I decided to transition into a career that was better aligned with family life. For over 20 years now, I have enjoyed a career as a school librarian. Most of my time was spent with middle school, but have been a high school librarian at Middle Creek HS in Apex for four years. Over the years, I was a club advisor for Library Leaders, Stage Crew, Digital Literacy Club, Battle of the Books, NewsFlash!, Dungeons and Dragons, First LEGO League, Skills USA, and Reading Connections. I taught countless collaborative lessons with teachers, fixed a mountain of tech hardware, learned ever-changing instructional technology, and shared my excitement for excellent storytelling with thousands of students. |
