| Favorite music | i'm more to the traditional rock music like those of aerosmith, nirvana, def leapord, the eagles, silverchair, smashing pumpkins, korn, staind, audioslave, hoobstank, muse, snow patrol, blur, jon bon jovi, deftones, the exies, foo fighters, filter, incubus, jars of clay, lifehouse, jimmy eat world, lostprophets, nickelback, p.o.d, weezer :), presidents of the USA, switchfoot, third eye blind, tonic, lustra, the vines, goo goo dolls, stone temple pilots..did i miss anyone out??then there's the uhm..poprock thing..i only like a select few though..like all american rejects, maroon5..n..n..yea, guess that's it :p and in the punk category i enjoy the sounds of..uhm..i'll get back to you on that ;) wait..hang on..one just came to mind..greenday :) i love gwen stefani, garbage, sneakerpimps, carlos santana, jewl, meja..I HATE techno..CERTAIN kinds of rap, hip-hop and pop..loathe techno..very much. And i'm still exploring other genres =) so if i discover a good one, i'll add it to the list..but i'm essentially a rocker chic at heart |
| Favorite books | I'm currently having a renewed interest in the classics such as the brilliant works ofRoald Dahl, C.S. Lewis, Jules Verne, H.G Wells..(one helluva good writer..AND he's English :D)Harper Lee n yea, JRR Tolkien.. I really really enjoy reading children's books like those by C.S Lewis(mastermind of Narnia), Roald Dahl(charlie and choc factory, BFG, Matilda just to name a few), Daniel Handler(yay lemony snicket!!) and yeayea..J.K.Rowling too.. Moving on..i love ANNE RICE!!(interview with the vampire, queen of the damned, body thief..etc)Stephen King's ok too :p I enjoy Jeffery Archer's compilation of short stories and AKIRA TORIYAMA!!(for those of you who don't know, he's the dude who created Dr.Slump and Dragonball)Ok i know, it's not a novel, but it's a legendary manga, so that counts for something right? *One embarrasing fact:I used to read a lot of R.L Stine books when i was a kid before i discovered all the above authors -.-" I'm am eternally grateful that i have now been enlightened. |
