| Introduction | As an Army family we have had the awesome opportunity to live in many different places. After Todd and I married in 2000, we spent a few months apart while I was attending my basic course at Ft Gordon, GA but eventually linked up at Ft Bragg, NC, where Todd served as an Infantry officer and I served as a Signal officer. While at Bragg we both travelled for training and Todd got a round-trip to Iraq, where he served in OIF I. While he was deployed I picked up and moved back to Ft Gordon for my officer advanced course--he came back to the states and headed to Ft Benning for his advanced course. We were back together about a year later when we were both assigned to Camp Casey, South Korea. After about 15 months in Korea we headed back (with our new beagle friend, Shiloh) to the states where Todd started medical school in Bethesda, Maryland. Over the next 4 years we welcomed our first daughter Kaitlin Eileen in 2006, I got to go have some "me time" in Afghanistan in 2007, and we welcomed our second daughter Kierstin Emily in 2009...about 7 weeks before Todd graduated. We now call WA home while Todd works on his orthopedic residency. Looking forward to many more adventures. |
