Introduction	Five years ago on a mining excavation I discovered a mysterious orb. My partner William Pauley III and I became lost in the beauty of it. After many months of study we found that the orb harnessed great power. I’ll admit we both became obsessed with this newly discovered power. We both attempted to find ways to control its power and bend it to our will. It didn’t take long before I realized the orb was evil. Slowly I began to fear its power and wanted to destroy it. III, on the other hand, was against that. One night, for the sake of both our lives, I shattered the orb into 3 pieces without III’s knowledge. Once he found out, he was outraged. I managed to escape with my life and 2 out of 3 pieces of the orb. Now I’m on the run. I’ve hidden one of the pieces and I keep the other with me at all times. III must never gain control of the orb and the power within it! Since I’ve been on the run I have come across many strange stories. Of course the cause of my journey may be unfortunate but by bringing you these strange twisted tales perhaps some good may come of this…and this I can only pray…
