| Interests | My photography is driven by the desire to capture a "sense of place" through which a rich and nuanced story may unfold. Relying on my architectural training, I start with a concept - the story to be told - which I then work to reinforce through the tools of layering, figure/ground, light, color, texture, symmetry and asymmetry, movement and juxtaposition. Ultimately my goal is to create images that mirror the inherent complexities and contradictions that are often the defining elements of our own unique journeys. |
