Introduction	For almost 40 years, Dave spent most of his days hunched over an examining table or microscope in his professions as a family practitioner, then an anatomical and clinical pathologist. Now that he's free to pursue his real passions -- reading, history, travel, outdoors, and golf -- he spends much of his days hunched over a computer recounting his experiences. His wife Mary Jane contributes many of the photos and technical know-how. We're hoping to be discovered by National Geographic or Travel + Leisure who will subsidize more travel and writing.
