About me

Introduction	I’m used to being the only girl in a group of people. Many of my hobbies seem to be male-oriented, at least where I come from. Archery, tech/stage crew, filming, rock climbing, and drumming in the band have repeatedly landed me in a group saturated with men. Although most of my experiences come from the band, which I participated in every weekday since the 7th grade, some of the stories and experiences that I share come from participating in the other activities. I’m a college freshman and participated in marching band for my entire high school career. I was in the pit until junior year when I made the bass line, beginning the 2 year journey into the minds of the greatest sense of brotherhood I have ever witnessed. It was fun, and now that I have the opportunity to reflect upon those times and take the lessons that they have taught me and apply it to my life, I wish to share it with you. Many of the stories are funny, but they have more importantly instilled life lessons in me that I will hold and treasure forever.
