Introduction After working full time for many years, I quit working to attend to personal health issues I was encountering after being diagnosed with Celiac disease in May 2011. Since then, my mental and physical health has improved as well as my relationships with my family and friends. I have a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and served for five years in the U.S. Army where I worked for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation department. My interests in nutrition and health have increased since being diagnosed with Celiac disease and I'm passionate about learning how foods affect our minds, bodies and spirits. My goal with this blog is to educate, raise awareness, offer encouragement and provide support to those who are struggling mentally, physically or spiritually due to the possibility of food sensitivities or intolerances.
