Introduction	Welcome to my blog, my first and only, intended for the sharing of all things sewing and crafting. I'm a mother, wife and grandmother, have been sewing and doing handwork all my life, from "helping" my mother by sitting underneath her old manual Singer sewing machine, and cutting her quilt patches into new shapes for her. Later in grade school, I clothed my 14" doll with her own wardrobe made by draping fabrics onto her body, cutting them to fit and sewing them by hand. Then, in 4-H, I learned to sew for myself, with Mother's help, and in junior high school even began to sew simple items for others, making a very little "fun money" for buying fabric and sewing supplies.
