| Introduction | I am a documentary filmmaker, since I enjoy doing closely research about real world, and breathe in with another wonderful life. I am a fiction film director; since I love create a world for people to believe there are wonderful moments in life. I will never become Woody Allen or Ingmar Bergman, or Quentin Tarantino. However, I will be me, just me, Jing Wang. I grew up as an unidentified generation in China. To be a filmmaker is my fate. It is my way to carry out intelligence and it’s my way to communicate. There is a movie called “Summer Palace”. I saw it on the winter of 2008 when I just moved into New York City. I am in the intersection of my life. I don’t know what to do. The movie is like my story – An individual live a life with heard dream, and struggles in art and poetry. The big apple makes me free. I enjoy dancing in a pair of magic red shoes in the center of the storm. |
