| Introduction | I am a man. Not young (although always eighteen in my mind), and not old. More or less teetering, baffled, on the brink of middle age and wondering how I got here so early. Most of the time I live in Oman, although I've lived in a few other places and have threads and footprints all over. I write for fun, and for a living, which means not for fun. And come to think of it, it's not much of a living. But here I am, writing for my own gratification and occasionally, maybe, that of a few others. Under a silly name that refers to an incident of falling over in a kitchen. Or maybe a low-cost version of a comic book character. I will probably regret that at some point. Still, there's not really time. Perhaps I should get over it and write something. Requests are welcome. I can have an opinion about anything. Like bad habits or backsides...everybody's got one. Share yours here. If I don't like it, I'll just delete it. Democracy's for suckers. Oh, I almost forgot: welcome to the blog, and thanks for stopping long enough to read.
