| Introduction | My name is Emily and I am living in Costa Rica for six months to teach English. I came to Costa Rica on vacation with my mom for ten days in 2010 and fell in love with the country. It is beautiful and the people here are welcoming and so incredibly nice. Since I decided I needed to come back for an extended stay, I decided to volunteer teach English to the locals through a program called EVOLC.
