Introduction I was born in the Far East of Russia , grew up in Western Ukraine & at the age of 21 relocated to US. I came here to pursue my American Dream. I graduated with a Master`s degree in Translation Studies & International Affairs. I picked up painting around 4 years ago and since then it has been a passion of mine. So here I go, further exploring this medium of self-expression. Creating art is my way of resisting the overwhelming rapid transformations taking place in our world. Painting is my way to preserve "me" as I used to know it, to reach out in the Divine in me and the world around. I can characterize my artistic signature as one of bold sloppy strokes, rather instinctive and spontaneous technique. I have been slightly influenced by Picasso, Otto Dix, Modigliani, Chagall. Overall though I cannot claim that I have followed in the steps of any particular artist from the past- I completely rely on my own vision and perception. Some of my works are in private collections. I also have exhibited in Ennagon Gallery in Soho as well as Slyvka Gallery in Lviv (Ukraine).
