| Introduction | This is a site where I can share my musings and as I am moving into the autumn of my life my incoherent ramblings with anyone who stumbles across them. I reserve the right to have my views and as, like everyone else, my identity is continually evolving I also reserve the right to change my mind or lose the plot occasionally. I will also play devils advocate to provoke discussion and debate and to keep you on the hop so the views I express from time to time may not be mine. Frankl wrote: “We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms, to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances”. So you are free to choose your attitude to what ever I write. While I do not set out to be confrontational it may happen and so be it. We can agree or agree to differ but let’s also try to have some fun along the way and as that very popular song from Monty Python used to say: Always look on the bright side of life (whistle) |
