| Introduction | We're a small farm in rural Michigan. We have slowly grown from just a few chickens and rabbits to turkeys, goats, peacocks and coming soon, bees! We try to raise only heritage breeds that are on the ALBS listing. Chickens: Salmon Faverolles: for eggs and eating. Black Sumatra: Jungle fowl, beautiful, black, the rooster has a long flowing tail. UGGOS: What is an uggo? They're some kind of ugly chicken, but endearing and fun! Rabbits: NZ an CA -mixes for meat or pets. Turkeys: Royal Palms: raised for the holidays! Goats: Nigerian: Rescued, 2 wether boys. Picked up a doe fall 2012 and a new little buckling spring 2013. Peacocks: Indian blue and Black Shoulder Not something we set out to have but, I'm not one to turn down opportunities! We have 6 peacocks - ALL FOR SALE - various ages/sexes! The latest to join the farm, honey bees! Hey, stay tuned it's always changing at Feckin Farms! |
