Introduction	I've been an airline pilot for 8 years now and at first life was good. I had a great job, a beautiful wife, and an enviable life. But when we found out we were going to have a child, my wife an I started a journey in search of truth. What would we teach this child about how to live and what is important? God had been working in our lives for a while, albeit unnoticed by us, and on Easter 2008 I heard truth for the first time in a long time. Since that time I have investigated and challenged my newfound faith. If it is truth it would remain unshaken. I took a leap of faith Sept. 14th 2008 and was baptized into Christ. Immediately God responded with a test. I was furloughed in a tough economy with little prospect of a job and we were pregnant with our first child. I should have been petrified(strangely I was very calm!) but I challenged my own faith to trust in God and His provision. So much so that we STARTED tithing when I lost my job! Not only did God provide but His timing was miraculous to say the least. I'm back at work and with a faith founded on the rock. I've seen His work in my life and I am a witness to the truth.
