| Introduction | I am a 34 year old mother of three children, my youngest is now 11 weeks old and has been diagnosed with HLHS and Turner Syndrome. She has been at UVA recovering from her Norwood since birth and everyday is a battle. She is the strongest newborn baby I know, and her streghth has made me a stronger woman! She is my biggest inspiration, and God has already seen us thru so much! I trust and believe that he will continue to see us thru our journey. And thru his grace we WILL win this war! I stay at her bedside week after week, and see my other children on weekends. It has been tremendously hard on me and my family, but nothing great is easy! I am gratful for everday I am with her, and forever am changed from just her being here! In many ways she has saved my life, and I continue to watch as God saves hers! |
