Introduction	I have developed the blog www.irish21stcenturystudents.blogspot.com, to share my expertise in communications, presentations and debate. The blog will provide a forum for discussion around these important areas. As a teacher of these subjects I have recognised the need for young people to improve their communication and presentation skills more so now than ever before as a result of the economic recession.I have also tutored the O'Fiaich College debating team which won the 2011 North East PLC debate where the topic was "is there s future for the young generation in Ireland today?". As marketing consultant to a local business, I reached the final of the National Marketing Awards hosted by the Marketing Institute of Ireland, who also won the Louth Business Awards in 2009. I am also the cartoonist for the Dundalk Leader newspaper commenting on local events. I have a Masters in Marketing and Entrepreneurship (2:1) and a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours Degree and I am a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
