Introduction	I'm an open-minded person who took a test that told him that he was a solid liberal. My family has a strong influence on the way I view public policies; they lean towards the Democratic party. Unfortunately, I am not actively involved in my Government, and I have never voted. I gather most of my political information from local newspapers and the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button on the Google search engine. I'm taking this course because it's required for my degree, but I hope to gain some knowledge of Texas's Government history and system.
