| Introduction | My name is Dimpel and I have suffered from Inflammatory Bowel Disease since 2001. I have had a total of 20 surgeries and numerous other complications due to Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. I would like to help educate people about these diseases and provide support to those who do not have it. I warmly welcome any comments, posts, or questions you may have. I am NOT a doctor, but am certified as a Medical Assistant and have some experience in the medical field. The information you find on this blog may NOT be based on the opinions of medical professionals but is from my own experience, research, and study. I also CANNOT provide medical advice as a doctor or medical professional but can advise you based on my own experiences and the experiences of others who’ve suffered from these diseases.
