Introduction	The works of Elizabeth Woods transmit optimism in our world where a lot of uncertainty, turbulence and gloom exist. They present one with an opportunity to pause and reflect on the goodness and beauty around us and nature to which we are all guardians. Through these, she intends to project hope, strengthen positivity and finally, initiate sparks to encourage us to make a difference. Her works are springboards to perceive and appreciate natural and man-made beauty in our everyday lives - of small details that ultimately are the ones that hold great truth. Elizabeth was born and grew up in the Philippines where she studied Fine Arts majoring in Advertising Arts in the 70s. She's had a couple of successful exhibitions at college but after marrying her late husband, she lived in England devoting most of her time to family life and work. Since retiring, she has returned to art and relocated to Spain since 2010 where she's had successful joint exhibits with her present husband, Greg Locsin. Although most of her works are realistic, she is versatile and has also produced abstract styles covering landscapes, portraits, stills and animals.
