| Introduction | The Sumerian diety Gula was recognized as the healer and was never without her faithful canine companion, (who was also believed to be a healer). Now, for those of you who know me, I am not one for idolizing Gods, however, I do think we can learn from the different personalities that humans have projected on them in admiration of the qualities we look to pocess. As a humanitarian, a peacekeeper, an educator, a mother, a healer, and of course, a dog lover, I hope to share the experiences I have learned with others who wish to represent a more open-minded existence; hence the name Gula Dog Blog. My Pit Bulls, my family and my work with the American Pit Bull Foundation are my heart and usually the muse for my postings. Thank you for reading. |
