Introduction | Like with most things he has done in his life Kyle Bostic happened to trip and fall into his future profession. Performing a speech in front of an Oral Communications class at Mansfield University, Kyle had the class falling out of their seats when he told them about a misadventure that happened during a basketball practice. His professor after class told him he should pursue a career in standup comedy. After not listening to the professors advice and getting a D in the class, Kyle went on to various other options before it dawned on him six years later that she was probably right. In the summer of 2006, he embarked on a journey that he has been riding the wave ever since. Utilizing a vast array of different experiences, a swift wit and a unique variety of pitches in his voice, Kyle exuberation carries a crowd through all the pain and agony he has foreseen with the assistance of a smile reassuring them that he is alright. His uniqueness, though he doesn't ignore his color of skin, manages to transcend traditional black white stereotypes and begin discussion of humanity as a race. Kyle has also appeared in a few short films. Look for Kyle at dailycomedy.com |
