| Introduction | 7 years ago I returned home to The Prairie after 36 years in Houston, 27 in West University Place. This is my Life ... with Ron, my Husband, and our Animal Planet: a German Shepherd named Ruby Thursday, a very special rescue, Ben, a little black Terrier who is 2 and lived his first year running from the Dog Catcher, 3 Tabbies named Bean, Mia, Leo, and pheasants, ducks, geese, deer, rabbits, a red fox and 27 bird species if you count that f'ing grackle. I am a Hip Chick and I take photos. I live on 3.5 gorgeous acres just outside of my hometown, surrounded by family, friends and The Prairie. Winter here is not for Sissies. |

| Favorite books | Anything by Penny Vincenzi and Anita Shreve. I've read all of the Sue Grafton Alphabet novels as well as Mary Higgins Clark. Best sellers too but I also read for wisdom and history. If it's awesome I will let you know. |
