Introduction	Hello, my name is Michael Izzard, welcome to my blog. As a 17 year old high school junior, I’m pretty excited about it. I spend lots of time on school, traveling, music and sports – but really my first love is food. I love to cook it and to eat it. I flipped my first pancake at the age of 5, started watching the food network about 8 years ago, reading some of my mom’s descriptive ethnic cook books along the way, and all of this resulted in numerous experiments in the kitchen. This evolved into cooking for the family as well as for parties, sometimes with as many as 30 or 40 people, and it has also created an opportunity to write my monthly article for the Arizona Daily Star Newspaper. I hope that you’ll like the great varieties of food that we’ll be discussing from at least a dozen Asian, European and South American countries. We’ll be focusing on my favorite dishes from places that I have been fortunate enough to visit or study. You’ll be introduced to both my gourmet and everyday favorites – but the common theme is that they’re all delicious and can be made where you are, right at home.
